It closes firmly with a clasp, and the metal work is very dark gunmetal grey. This bag comes boxed, which is useful if you are buying it as a gift for someone. Kate's Opinion: This bag is a wonderful alternative to a sparkly bag for a special occasion. Being leather it is also perfect for all sorts of daytime special occasions - weddings, garden parties at the Palace, the Royal Box at Wimbledon.....Barbara from Scotland has recently bought the navy version of this bag for a wedding and describes it as perfect. In fact it has proved to be a very popular bag for weddings.
